About Us
Our classes are designed to inspire imagination, exercise the body, teach proper technique and dance skills while building self-esteem and confidence in every dancer. At Heartbeat Dance our goal is to teach students more than just dance steps in a positive, Christian environment. At Heartbeat Dance both beginning and advanced students become well-rounded dancers. Our friendly staff is committed to bringing quality customer service and teaching children in a fun and safe environment.
Our dance studio is located in Duncan, OK. We offer a wide array of classes for students ages 3 years and older. Our passionate and trained instructors have experience and knowledge in dance education. Classes offered at Heartbeat Dance include: Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical/Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Acro, and Preschool classes for young dancers. Heartbeat Dance was founded in 1985 by Jeff and Stephanie Gregston, and in 2006 Chelsea Shores became the owner. Our studio is proud of its rich history of serving the Stephens County area and beyond, with great dance instruction in a positive environment.

More Than Just Great Dancing Affiliated Studio
In 2018 Heartbeat Dance was accepted into the More Than Just Great Dancing International affiliation program, aligning the studio with a higher standard of dance instruction and management principles.
More Than Just Great Dancing is a community of dance studio owners committed to providing more than excellent dance instruction. Founded by Misty Lown, owner of Misty’s Dance Unlimited, the More Than Just Great Dancing license is based on the same principles Lown used to grow her own La Crosse, Wis., studio that today serves more than 700 dance students and has given out more than $135,000 in scholarships.
The approach places the customer at the center of the dance studio world and equips licensed studios to transform staff teaching and leadership skills, provide quality programs and curricula, employ best management practices and have a positive impact on their communities.
As the only studio in the area to receive a license, Heartbeat Dance and Chelsea Shores may join other industry leaders in web seminars and teleconferencing discussions as well as connect with other studio owners to share ideas, drive industry innovations, and address challenges.
